| partners | | Denny was looking for a 4-5mile hike, so I through this one together for him.
It was in the low 30's when we started around 8:45. Throw in a 30 mpg wind and it was a tad chilly.
We started from the Adero Canyon TH going north. 5 new trails for me today, one that was 15' long and included a bench. I'll let Denny do the writeup on that one.
Promenade  Sonoran Lower Sonoran Lookout Trail Ridgeline Trail
The Sonoran Lower Sonoran Trail was better than expected. It roller coasters 4.2 miles with 1000' of AEG. The trail is in excellent shape and there was someone out working on it.
The OaB on the Ridgeline via the Overlook is 4.3 miles and 950' of AEG if you include the Lookout. This was my favorite of the day. There are no bikes allowed on the one because they deem it difficult.
I'd do this one again.
The wind did not stop blowing all day. If you were on the western side of the ridges the wind was blocked.
Good hiking with the turtle again. I'm glad he got in his 4-5 miler.
