| partners | | After I had broken my wrist, I wasn't sure I was going on this AZ Highways Photoscape but Ambika didn't even give me the option of not going. She would have to do all the driving and assist me since I was short a wing.
We had a nice drive over on Fri morning and had lunch at the Mountain Quail Cafe. I had the most different BLT than I've ever had. Ambika's country potatoes were exceptional and she asked for seconds on the salsa so you know it was good. We later met up with the other participants in Ehrenberg and drove back to Quartzsite and then south to the Kofa, a place I had admired from fellow HAZers and now I finally get to see it in person.
It was lightly raining when we turned in on Palm Canyon Road. Everyone still got their tripods and cameras out and walked into the desert but soon it started raining a little harder. I opted to go back to the vehicle but would venture out again. We shot thru a beautiful sunset and tried to get our bearings as we would be back here tomorrow but hike up the canyon. You know I took lots of photos so I really tried to be selective from this day's shoot. |

For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination.
Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled. |
