| no partners | | Staying on trails I know and that are somewhat smooth for the moment. Quite a few hikers and bike riders as expected. Hiked clockwise. Whomever is doing the trimming is doing a terrible job! I saw several errors in their work that they'll just have to trim again. So either the training is bad, if any, or the volunteers missed the memo on how to properly trim.
Tried to exercise my wrist and upper body during the smoother parts of the hike. Saw quite a few families today. The barrell cactus looked especially good, plump and colorful. Got to finally have a beer after my hike. The trailhead was quite entertaining. Very mulit-lingual too.
WATCH: 5.77 miles 146 avg bpm, 187 max. 64% in zone 5 (that's surprising to me but I did try to push it) 20% in zone 4 and 16% in zone 3 burning 812 calories. Temp at start 69.8 and 18% humidity finishing at 4:27PM. |
