Got started a little after 0815. Nice and cool on the way up, and shaded, of course. Lots of red arrows, plus some white ones too, so there’s almost no chance of accidentally getting off course. Enjoyed the views from the summit, then wandered around the top before taking a snack break at the north end. Uneventful hike back down, although it was getting pretty warm by the end. I can never decide if bringing a pole on this one is worth it or not—it’s helpful to me in places, but kind of a hassle a lot of the time. Despite the parking lot being fairly full, I think we saw only six other hikers. Always a fun hike!
