I would lose my butt if it didn't follow me around.
Back to Wise Mesa for a short hike after work.
Very strong wind, sunny, 80 degrees.
Left my walking stick at home but the terrain was pretty easy. A well worn cow path followed the top of the mesa.
At the 45 minute mark I was climbing through a barbed wire fence and my backpack got caught. Lost my balance.
Thank goodness a bunch of rocks broke my fall.
At the end of the mesa I headed into the canyon to find Buckshot Tank. No water but it was well maintained. Stopped here for some shade and a pic of the tank BUTTTTTTTTTTT.....
I couldn't find my picture taking phone.

Back out of the canyon to the fence and there it was. Right where my face slowed my fall. Also found a gate about 20 yards away.
The only pic I got was with the not so good phone.
It was a nice workout and great views. |
