Wanted to be outside in awesome weather - and so boyfriend drove us in my truck on Seven Springs Road - kind of winging it with plans to find slopes of poppies - maybe get up to Humboldt - maybe look around a saddle that he spied when he was glassing for javalina last month that had cool rocks. We got all the way to the top of a canyon wall and used a small stretch of Maricopa Trail but we mostly just walked in a vague direction happily. Scrambled up and around rocks -tried not to do anything too dangerous. Lots of animal tracks in soft boggy soil after snow last week. Good workout - didn’t see another human - was a perfect day. Sooooooo many flowers of all kinds.
