I got up early and decided to hike Mount Ord once again.

The washed out place on the road wasn't any worse than last time. I looked around a bit to see if there was an easy way around the washout, but there wasn't.

Temperatures were pleasant until the last 2-3 miles.

I saw a nice sized doe on the way back, about 1.5 miles from the trailhead. That is the first wildlife that I have seen in the area that was burned by the Bush fire in 2020. That suggests that food and cover are coming back for wildlife.

Wildflowers Observation Moderate
There are still wildflowers in various places, which is nice to see in late summer.
