| partners | | | The second day of hiking I had big plans but I broke my hiking partner the day before, Knee issues. We took it easy today and hoped for a speedy recovery because we still had Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak and the Sand dunes scheduled over the next few days. The Sprague Lake trail is just below Bear Lake and is an easy 1.5 mile stroll along the lake. This hike is beautiful at sunrise and I imagine at sunset. My plans were to go on up to Bierstadt Lake but I could see Ginny was not in any condition to do anymore so we stopped here and drove around the rest of the park. |
