| partners | | | Short evening hike at around sunset. Not sure whether to call this a hike or just a walk. Easy trails but still nice to get out at the end of a day. The heavy growth from the monsoons is now all brown especially where you cross Monument Wash. Quite a few very large saguaros down because the saturated soils could not support the root system. No wildlife spotted until I got back to my house where a group of Javelina were crossing the road, they were late, the trash cans were empty. They forgot that the trash comes early Wednesday morning. No need to worry about rattlesnakes at dusk because it is a bit cool for them. |
