This is a short 1.5 mile hike in the Calico Hills to a destination with great views of Red Rock Canyon and Las Vegas to the East. This trail is heavily used and easy to follow. The scenery along the trail is spectacular as you are walking through a canyon with red and white sandstone cliffs on either side. A little rock scrambling toward the end is required but easy to do. The views at the end of the trail from a small saddle in the Calico Hills are great. This is a good trail to do at sunrise or at sunset. If traveling to Red Rock Canyon check the website because we had to get a pass on line to enter the park. |
