we threw out some ideas for today and john picked white tanks
i hadn't been out there in four years :o
we decided on barry goldwater peak via mesquite and got going around 0640
very windy when we got up on the peak; didn't stay long
returned via willow canyon
saw just a few people until near the finish
good temps, some high clouds and a nice breeze
almost ran out of gas leaving the park, then got caught in traffic where I-10 was closed at 43rd ave. : rambo :
had time for ranch market burritos before cardinals kickoff, so all is well :)
nice to do something kind of different - i've always liked the white tanks
