Headed out to to Tom’s Thumb with Celina. Got started around 0900 and headed uphill. A bit warmer than anticipated, but there was a decent breeze. Got smoked on the trail by a five year old shortly before reaching the thumb.

After that, we headed up to East End Peak. The condition of the route has gotten much worse over the last couple of years. Overgrown, lots of poky things, more erosion, all on steep decomposed granite. Made for a very slow ascent and descent. Took a good break at the top though.

Warm hike back down to the trailhead. Only three other vehicles in the lot when we finished.
