| no partners | | Today I decided to do a lasso loop hike from the Golden Eagle TH in Fountain Hills. I went on the Dixie Mine Trail to the Toms Thumb Trail, doing the lasso loop CW. I did not go to Toms Thumb, but I had lunch at the "The Lookout" near Toms Thumb.
It was a nice day to do this hike -- the high temperature was in the upper 60's which is warmer than I like, but cloudy skies and breezy conditions made it seem cooler than it was.
The wildflowers were really nice, which made for an enjoyable hike. |

Wildflowers Observation Substantial
There was an impressive display of wildflowers throughout this hike. Desert Hyacinth, aka Blue Richards, were the champion wildflowers on this day. Fiddlenecks also made an impressive showing. There were lots of other wildflowers also. |
