Denny invited us to the unpreserved side of the McDowells for the Thanksgiving hike.

From the Adero Canyon Trailhead, we headed up and soon were on the Andrews-Kinsey Trail. It's a smooth mountain bike-grade trail. Sunrise was standard Arizona grade, putting on a nice show!

When we got to Sunrise Peak the organizer was on the peak! While not technically on the hike it was good to see that Denny was at the hike... Lol

JJ, Jlp, Gecko, and I headed down to Sunrise Trailhead because we just hadn't had enough wind💨

This stretch down-n-up was more like the labradoodle Thanksgiving families roaming aimlessly I recall from Lost Dog Trailhead.

The wind blew and blew 🌬️
