had plans to hike @dixieflyer's RS :: Adero Canyon Sonoran Loop with angela this morning
when she couldn't make it, i decided to go to adero canyon anyway
kind of a late start at 1050
set out for sunrise peak to start with
very few people on the trails, and just one other gal on the summit
retraced my steps to the western loop, and did that trail clockwise
at the saddle, hit the west view overlook high point which is peak 3098(?)
quite a few switchbacks dropping to promenade trail
took the north end trail to the high point along the ridgeline, returning to promenade
then took the overlook trail, including the easy route
ended up with a decent hike and had fun doing a few new things
more to explore - ridgeline off of the overlook trail and all of north end
lots of brittlebush, and good patches of lupine, scorpionweed, chuparosa and a few globemallow
nice place to hike
