linda suggested quartz peak for today's hike
it's been almost seven years since i've been up here - that's too long
we got going around 0815
cloudy skies and great temps for the uphill
trail was in good condition for the most part
one washout and a bit of route finding up higher
love the views from the ridgeline on the ascent
also enjoy the scrambling parts near the peak
we took a good break at the summit for photos, snacks and views
we ran into a four hikers and a few sightseers on the way down
i love this hike and it was great to do it again
