| no partners | | Jeep got a workout today. Once off the main road, which is nothing to write home about, the secondary roads are rough, steep and washed out in parts. I did park low in a wash because I wanted to walk and get exercise. The upper web of old mine roads still festooned in flowers, just lovely. Some mine tunnels I wanted to access were blocked off, and the ore in the area was just wonderful with the copper colors. I saw three gila monsters but only got one marginal picture.
I did get into one mine with some work. Have plans for one of the others. Will need to punish the Jeep more and drive closer to haul in the proper equipment. |
