john suggested picketpost for today's hike
it's been three years

last did this with john and @dixieflyer in 2020
got going around 0520 or so
shade the entire ascent
not the most efficient route we've taken
spent a few minutes on the summit checking out the views
perfect weather
good route down for the most part
saw nine people, more than i would have thought
we took the trail into arnett canyon
found water in the creek about a mile and a half in
better to do this part in the spring or fall
john provided coffee for a little break in the ramada when we finished
nice hike in cooler than usual june temps
picketpost is always fun
