It'd been 5 years since I've stood on this summit and the first since the Telegraph Fire burned right up the chute. I was impressed to see that the expected fire damage was less than anticipated. Burn and drought aside, the geology of this mountain is as impressive as always and still an enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours on a pleasant weather day.

All our devices were within a few feet of each other but HAZ says I climbed over 100 feet more. Must've been the pee breaks.

While discussing avatars, the penguin discovered why the eagle is always pictured in profile. Thus was our day.
