With the extended summer temperatures in the valley I decided to head up to Mount Ord today. It is still warm up there, but at least it is much more tolerable than being in the VOS.

I am having issues exporting my gps track from route scout, so I was unable to attach it to this trip report.

Autumn Foliage Observation Isolated
There was some very isolated but nice big tooth maples about 2 miles from the trailhead.

Wildflowers Observation Light
There was a good bit of an asteraceae of some sort blooming within a mile or so of the trailhead.
