| no partners | | I just discovered that I neglected to post this hike from earlier this year.
I was on my way to New Mexico and decided to stop on the way and hike up to Juniper Flats Mountain (elevation of 7,161 feet and prominence of 1,161 feet).
I drove part way up the road and parked so as to at least make a short hike out of this one. I walked along the road to the summit area and wandered around a bit so as to hit the highpoint. There were some pretty nice views at the summit, which I enjoyed.
I then hiked the road back to my vehicle. I wish that I had more time to do a bit more exploring in the area. |
