Met up with an old friend I hadn’t seen in seventeen years. She likes hiking, but has done very little in the Supes, so this seemed like a fun choice.

Started at 0700 and headed up Bluff Springs trail, then up Terrapin. West on Weavers Crosscut, which I think was her favorite part of the loop. Some catclaw, but generally easy to avoid.

South on Peralta to Fremont Saddle. Headed to the overlook, then down Cave Trail. Other than Fremont and right around the trailhead, we didn’t see very many people. Nice breeze, and not too warm until the last mile or two.

Wildflowers Observation Isolated
Some flowers here and there. Wildflower season looks promising based on the growth so far.
