8 million cars in the area given our late start. We originally planned on doing canyon of the water falls from praying hands plus treasure loop or massacre falls. Since all those Trailheads were full, we headed out to first Water Trailhead. We lucked out and took a spot of someone leaving the entirely full lot (there was room at the horae lot when we passed by). We decided to do the hackberry Springs loop as my out of town friend wanted no elevation gain.

There were quite a few people on the trail, as expected, but not too bad. There was water everywhere... Glorousness!!

Yay, water! So much water! Flowing, in large deep pools... Happy desert!

The water was expected given all the rain, but still it's so nice to see.

Lots of backpackers going out, and lots of tents around garden Mesa.

We had a quick snack in the hackberry springs, then headed through the canyon back to the first Water ranch area/junction with Dutchman tail.

A fantastic hike with amazing weather!
