I decided to head up to Sedona today and do one of my favorite Red Rock Country hikes -- Wilson Mountain.

I inexplicably forgot my GPS so I used Route Scout on my tablet computer to track the hike.

It was a bit cool at the start of the hike, but it warmed up quickly.

This hike is a good blend of awesome scenery along with a good workout. I enjoy traversing across the top of the mountain. We went off trail a bit to get to the Wilson Mountain summit, which is not far off of the trail.

I saw a tarantula, but that was it for wildlife on the hike.
