Kendrick has been on my wishlist for a long time, and I was looking for something high and cool.
I haven't done any serious hiking - let alone at altitude - lately, so I knew it would be a challenge, and it definitely was. I loved it, though ... what a great trail!
I ran out of time and energy near the top, so I made the cabin my turnaround point. Still felt good about my hike though - I got in nearly 10 miles and went above 10k feet ... plus, now I still have the summit and lookout tower to look forward to next time! Weather was perfect, and only saw 14 people all day.
