| partners | | on our way home from lake tahoe, we stopped off at big bear again
john and janie's daughter and granddaughter joined us for two nights of camping at hanna flat
john and i found this little hike to do saturday morning
trailhead is near the unfortunately named town of fawnskin
the trail winds uphill to a forest service road, follows that for a short bit, then back on trail
good footing to an overlook of big bear lake, then a use trail to the true summit
better views from the overlook, so we stopped for a couple minutes at both
fun hike through granite, pines and oak at a moderate grade
nice peak if you're in the area |
