| partners | | Decided to squeeze one more hike in for the month of January, The weather was good so we choose Seven Falls. It's a Saturday so it would be a zoo. Had to Park in the Sabino Canyon overflow parking area since the main lot was full. Hiked along the Bear canyon Trail rather than the road to the Seven Falls trail head. I had not seen so many people on a hike in all my life, finding a spot to sit at the falls required a reservation. In spite of the crowd it was a great day with great weather.
Bear Canyon had a light flow and crossing the creek multiple times wasn't a problem, strategically placed rocks made crossing easy. We followed the Bear Canyon Trail back and took the Esperero Trail back to the overflow parking area. |
