| no partners | | Awoke this morning to see that the second wave of storms have passed so I headed up Graham to check out the Jacobson creek water flow. I entered the canyon from John's dam and it was very good to see the water gushing over the dam again after being so dry for most of the year! This is such a beautiful canyon trek along the creek full of small waterfalls, pools and really cool gneiss & boulders, but it is a tough one to get through. I had my fill at the 1.5 mile mark and exited the canyon up to the Swift Trail Hwy and back down to John's dam. I stopped at Roper Lake on the way home to journal my trip and to photograph the sunset colors that just never could get through the thick mountain clouds & fog tonight. Another well spent day in Jacobson Canyon! |
