san juan road is open this weekend, so i hit alta trail to maricopa peak this morning
nice climb up the switchbacks, then along the north side of the peak
not great views of the west valley, but kinda cool looking down the drop off to the north
at milepost 8, took the spur trail up to the peak
this is a nice in-town hike, away from the crowds on the weekends
temps 75-81, hazy skies
