A friend and I spent the cool weather hiking this morning. It was dry but on saddles there often was quite a strong wind. It was hold onto your hats time. Because we didn't want to go back we threw in some excellent sights from Terrapin Trail. There were dozens of little toads along the trails today, most were reddish in color and maybe 5/8 inch long. Found a tarantula on the trail, had fun playing with him. Picked up a huge sheet of plastic that had blown into a cactus.
