I wanted to explore a little so I took off to Rogers trough. The road is rough so high clearance is needed. I hiked up West Pinto trail and checked out a route for Iron Mountain.
I hiked back down to find the spring and ended up off trail cuz that's where my GPS took me.
No need to hike off trail since there is an easy spur on the way in but what fun is that.
I checked out Ron Feldman's treasure trove dig area and took some photos. From there I hiked over to the trough which was only at a trickle. There are many leaks in the pipe so not much water is making it to the trough. There is a red valve by the spring that can be opened and water pours out. My next task was to look for an old trail. No signs as the brush out there grows too fast. I hiked up a draw until it was too thick. Once I got home I found I crossed the old trail but saw nothing of it so maybe another day.

	The flow was good but you have to turn the lever. The trough is low but there are many leaks in the pipe so there is more water by the trail.
