Day 1: First Water TH to Battleship Mtn summit via the standard route, carrying 8 liters of water total (3 in reservoir) and camped on summit area. Beautiful sunset and next morning sunrise from summit. I saw some standing water up on the summit plateau.
Day 2: Descended from summit and ran into Van and Josh (?) "Devils Mountain" who were just starting up. I continued down to Cavalry and then into to Marsh Valley to camp. There is plenty of water in Marsh Valley and it was a chilly, damp night and morning until the sun made it over Black Mountain about 9 am.
Day 3: Headed out to Dutchman's, then a short ways on Bull Pass, then down Red Hills Needle Canyon as I wanted to look for the camera I lost in the canyon last year. No luck. Connected with Boulder Canyon to Dutchman's and back to First Water TH.
A very enjoyable trip.
