If you are ever hiking the Superstition Ridgeline on Halloween and end up in the right place at the right time, you may look up and see this ghostly shadow of a long lost miner all dressed in black! Notice the brimmed hat, backpack and scruffy beard?

This is an original photo, taken totally by accident as I was just shooting the rock formations. It has been cropped to show more detail. When I first reviewed my photos of that day I was kinda freaked out because I really thought there was someone in the photo that I wasn't aware of at the time! The hills do indeed have eyes!

If you see a turtle climbing on a bear's back, then you'll know the ghost is lurking! Happy Hazoween!!
