Started at Desert Vista trailhead and took the shortest route to Union Peak. Found an old trail down the south face off Union Peak which brought us out at 2nd Street. It was steep and loose, but burnt in enough to follow without problem. From there we headed to Dixie Summit for a twin peak day. Perfect day. Sky was filled with hot air balloons this morning, what a treat!
