| partners | | Two days later, I'm just realizing I should have worn my bumble bob shirt. Oh well my half socks were sort of greenish yellow and no Dave they didn't have the little balls attached that you like.
Life haz been very good to me and not working Fridays for the last 20 years opens up lots of options and opportunity. The last two Fridays, I skied all day and was able to spend time with my daughter when she got off of work. But they were long days, starting at 5am and getting home after 8pm after pushing my legs to their limits.... takes its toll.
Anyways, I decided it would be prudent to sleep in and just do Yellow Peak. Not that I was invited on the Canyon Lake trip and I figured Denny wasn't really gonna show up in the other group . Because of BrunoP, I didn't get the extra sleep but I was able to take my time instead of rushing like usual and forgetting stuff. BrunoP could have done this but the cactus minefield up top near Black Mesa probably would have been too much. He doesn't really watch where he's going most of the time.
Free Bird was the theme of my favorite prom. Not sure why I added that.
After the hike, my son and I didn't get to see American Sniper but ended up seeing that movie about generation Bruce. Unbroken is a timeless tale of survival. |
