Arrived at First Water Trail Head to quite a few people milling around the parking lot , I inquired as to what the senior discount was today but didn’t get a response, apparently today’s popular hike was Hackberry Loop . Hustled up and thought I was ahead of the hordes but just after crossing First Water Creek there was already a battalion to pass and just before Garden Valley a platoon of ladies , after that only one backpacker leaving Boulder Basin . Couldn’t locate a register on Yellow Peak, took a couple of pictures and proceeded on. Explored a bit of Little Boulder Creek /Canyon and eastern slope Palomino Mountain, flowing water in Little Boulder Creek and West Boulder Creek at the Dutchman crossing.After Parker Pass smooth sailing to the trailhead.Disappointed no wildlife spotted.
