Got out this morning with my hiking buddy Julia for a jaunt in the southern portion of the Phoenix Sonoran Preserve to do the Dixie Mountain loop with a side of the Dixie summit and Western Vista trails. Got to see some familiar faces in the group of 20+ Trail Mix Meetup hikers heading off to Desert Tortoise trail. Great quick loop near home!
