spent a great weekend in the white mountains with angela, mary jo and wade
angela picked out a number of hike possibilities
the thompson trail was at the top of the list
set out saturday morning with partly cloudy skies and cool temps
hiked along the west fork of the black river through meadows full of wildflowers in shallow canyon
enjoyed the scenery at a relaxed pace
checked out the fish barriers
saw a crew of around 14 working on the trail
took plenty of photos
had a snack at the end of the trail and returned the same way
might be fun to take the old railroad bed back for a different perspective
first time hiking with az wandering bear
nice trail, and i see why it's one of tibber's favorites
