| no partners | | | After a quick overnighter up on Horton Creek, I drove up to the Hatchery to check out some fishing spots along upper Tonto Creek. I followed the myriad of trails leading downstream from the hatchery and eventually came to an area I had not previously explored. I found several good fishing spots and then a rather large falls, I have not seen before. Continuing on I followed the creek until I came to the junction of Tonto and D.I.C.K. Williams creek. There are lots of buildings here... I followed DW creek further upstream and found a man made pond of sorts with a water inlet pipe in it. I wonder where this water goes? I continued on over to the power lines and then up to Highline trail and then west back to the Hatchery parking lot. This was a nice little loop. |
