| no partners | | This was a round trip hike starting at Madera Canyon Old Baldy Trail Head. The route is Old baldy Trail (#372) to Josephine Canyon, Temporal Gulch Trail (#595) to Wild Cat Mine (about 3 miles in) and then return to Josephine saddle and back to start point along the Super Trail (134).
Nice hike for September, Get out of the lower desert heat and there was still water available from summer monsoons. I had never been on the Temporal Gulch Trail so most of the Photos were taken along this trail. I will have to finish up this trail from the other end in lower Temporal Gulch. There are nice views to the South and great close up views of Mount Wrightson from the South. Trail does not seem to used be too much. |
