When I reserved spots a few days prior there was a 20% chance of rain. Woke up Monday morning to wind and approaching rain. Debated going or not but stuck with it. Rained the whole drive there and even hit some snow south of superior. Once we arrived I figured I'd leave my camera in the truck as it was still coming down pretty good. The first few water crossings were painful but got used to it up the canyon. Trees were in their prime which made it absolutely beautiful. About 3 miles in we hit our turn around point. It got chilly after that due to the wind picking up and a short lunch break. Made it back to the heater in good time. Glad we didn't skip out on going to this one! Weather always adds an exciting dynamic especially when it's not to miserable to deal with.
