Went on a short hike on the Pinnacle Peak trail with my son-in-law and grandson Michael late saturday afternoon. Needed to burn off some of Michael's excess energy from eating too many Christmas cookies. Not much luck with that. He ran up and down the trail (about 1.7 miles) only stopping for pictures and for an out of breath grandpa to catch up. Had to turn back after only going about a 0.8 miles because the park was closing for the evening.
