Went back out to the Sonoran Preserve and the Apache Wash Trailhead To do a loop hike on the Apache Wash Trail via the connector trail. It was a not too warm afternoon under a clear blue sky. The trail is very easy to navigate allowing one to take in the scenery and in my case look for photo oppurtunities. The desert floor is very green in places, though no flowers visible yet. This area had a lot of staghorn cholla present. More bike riders than hikers out and about. Enjoyed doing this loop very much. A great way to introduce oneself to the area.
