Another beautiful morning to get out and hike! This is a favotite trail of mine. it's not too far from my house and the little up and down in it makes it worth the effort. Got started about 8am. Made the trip counter clockwise. Almost no yellow left on the Brittlebush. The barrel cacti along the trail are just abuot to bloom. They are the most prevalent cactus here along with a few chollas and saguaros. There were a few hikes out. Was amazed at the lady who walked briskly past me and was keeping up a good pace all the while talking on her phone. Made it around in under 2 hours which is good for me.
