Apache Vista Trail - Sonoran Preserve N

I had access to a car so I finally was able to check out the Sonoran Preserve area. Went to the Apache Wash trailhead and discovered that a lot of other people had the same idea. This was about 10:15am. I started out on the Sidewinder trail not planning on going to far. Its a great trail with lots of views of the surrounding area. Lots of cholla cactus in the area. I came to the intersection with the Apache Vista trail and turned on to it. I handled the uphill better than I thought I would and was rewarded with some great views at the top. Returned to the traihead via the same route. By the time I got back sometime after 12 the clouds were starting to move in. Looking forward to returning and trying out other trails in the future.
