A week late in posting this but life sometimes intrudes. Our group (Frank E, Elisabeth, Sharon, Niel and I) had a somewhat hazy, cool day for this outstanding hike. Flies weren't too bad at the top and we had the whole peak for the entire time we were there. We met MountainRat on his way down (cool du-rag Matt, I should have taken a pic for posting), who I got to hide my GPS (which I left on top of my car). Obviously, I didn't have a track to post, but I didn't feel bad since there are already 13 there, including 2 of mine. Birders are starting to populate the lower trails at Madera hoping to get a shot of a rare migrating species.

Lots of water at Bellows Spring. Not many flowers. Good day out though.
