The views up on Government Hill are pretty nice. There are only about 7 entries on the summit register which was placed there in 2011. The person who orchestrated the register used a page of sheet music. There may B sharp rocks on the hike up so watch tour step until you C flat ground. Other than that the route is easy. Once back on Paradise trail it was pleasant hiking. The toughest part was hiking the forest road back up to the Haunted Canyon trail as you gain 600+ feet when you think you are done. The trails are in good shape so you need to go off trail to have any fun.
