The forecast was for light rain so off I went. The trail traffic was light but I saw several campers along the way. I decided to hike up toward Bluff Spring Mountain to check out a cave. The cave was nothing special. I took a short cut on the way down found an old camp. It rained a little but then an hour later the sun was out. I finished before 2pm and stayed dry. The Peralta trailhead parking was full and Carney Spring had about 12 cars parked on the roadside. A bit too crazy for me.
