| no partners | | | Since only a few have hiked up Mount Catherine, I thought it would be worth a trip to get a few GPS tracks and see what was up there. The hike is mostly trail with one steep section of off trail to the ridge. The ridge is a nice grade which makes for an easy to hike up to the summit. The views are great like other Mazatzal Wilderness peaks so definitely worth a look. We stopped for lunch a the summit and randomly found a few arrow heads. After about 30 minutes of looking around we started back. Mike took the adventurous route down while I went back the way we came up. We intersected the trail about the same time and cruised out.
