Plans got changed several times this week so I ended up with a morning hike in the Supes. I wanted to locate the boulders where the skull with the gold tooth was found, The Valley of the Bones and the stone ruins left by Silverlock & Malm. We started out early while it was still dark and took a spur trail toward Praying Hands. By the time be neared Praying Hands it was light and we went off trail to find the boulders. We found the boulders and started to loo for the Valley of the Bones. The Valley was one ridge over just south of Massacre Trail. The last thing was to locate the cabin ruins but that was more difficult. I think we got close in the end but still not sure. The off trail hiking wasn't too bad. We hiked a neat ridge south of Massacre trail, hit a random summit and found turtle remains. Thanks for going exploring Denny
